We love hearing stories from Pearl Harbor Survivors. Frank Curre, a Pearl Harbor Survivor from Texas, has an incredible story. He shared with NPR's StoryCorps.  You can listen to Frank Curre's story here.

Curre was a mess cook on the USS Tennessee when Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7th, 1941.  Curre said that he never fully recovered from what he saw on that tragic day. Even though those memories were "tattooed on his soul", he continued to share his story.

Frank Curre was loved by his family and community. He often spoke at schools to make sure that younger generations never forget Pearl Harbor.

This is a video of Frank Curre visiting a middle school.

Curre was the president of the local Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. He was a great storyteller and a proud Pearl Harbor Survivor from Texas.

This is a new report about the passing of Pearl Harbor Survivor from Texas, Frank Curre

Pearl Harbor had an impact on his life. It was fitting the he passed away on the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack. We salute you Frank Curre.
