William Knubel Jr. was from Switzerland and possible born in 1919. Came to America in 1922 with his father William Knubel Sr. and mother Martha Maria Knubel (Fankhauser). He was raised on his parents dairy farm in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The farm was was lost to the expansion of I-70. He had three sisters Maria Martha Knubel, Hedwig Knubel and Alice Knubel. My mother is Maria.
