It is incredible to see the ships and the memorials and is a great way to learn about some history. Good attraction, well organized, opens your eyes to what really happened back then. Must see if in Hawaii.

My Wife and I visited Pearl Harbor on our first trip to Hawaii. It was a quite enjoyable and moving experience. The entire visit was quite educational and interesting. There were museum attractions and actual hardware from WWII. Really makes you think about and appreciate the people who have fought and currently fight for our freedom.

If you are coming to Oahu you should make a point to visit Pearl Harbor and learn more about what happened here on December 7, 1941. Great museums all around. I loved reading the stories of the all of the submarines that never returned home at that part of the memorial.

A must see for all ages, much to see and learn. Can be cramped in some areas but every effort is maintained to allow you to see as much as possible. Wonderful tour of Pearl Harbor with a knowledgeable tour guide. Shawn provided us with wonderful insight of Pearl Harbor, Veteran Cemetery.

Visiting Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial was the HIGHLIGHT of our time on Oahu. A day of refection and respect. A history lesson well presented, and an awesome experience. SO well done.

A walk in history, an emotional visit, you can get a much better understanding regarding the attack on pearl harbor and the results of the attack that changed history. Every American should see Pearl Harbor if they are in Oahu. Every part of it is done with class and dignity.

Really makes you realize the sacrifices soldiers make. This memorial will bring tears to your eyes. Can’t even imagine going to Hawaii and not experiencing Pearl Harbor. Do not miss visiting the Pearl Harbor memorial sites.

This was our first visit to Hawaii and Pearl Harbor was on a must on our to-visit list. We had a friend who was stationed at Pearl Harbor in 1941 and wanted to visit here. When visiting Oahu island you should not miss a visit to Pearl Harbor. The history learns us a lot about the heroes that have been fighting for this great country.

If you’re a history buff, especially about WW2, the USS Arizona Memorial and the Park are moving memorial of the men and women who sacrificed their lives for what we are enjoying now.

I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Sterling Cale, a survivor of the Pearl Harbor Attack. He is originally from MaComb, Illinois. This tour is a “Must” when visiting Honolulu. A page of history that is still bleeding in our hearts. The Arizona Memorial was a very emotional place to visit. To think of how many young lives had been taken in the ships below the surface.

I have wanted to visit this place for as long as I can remember. It is still a great lesson in history. It is very somber and reflective. Visiting Pearly Harbor while in Hawaii is an eye opening and moving experience. It is a must see while in Honolulu.

The visit to the monument is well organized and a moving experience. It really hits home the tragedy of what happened here. Learned a lot I didn’t know before going there. So many tragic stories Hearing it form a Hawaiian view point was eye opening.

This was truly an amazing experience. It has the historic sites of USS Arizona, Battleship Missouri Memorial, USS Bowfin Submarine and the Pacific Aviation Museum. I feel that the presentations were very balanced. Although the Japanese were clearly the aggressors in the attack on Pearl Harbor, they were not “villains” nor “the bad guys”. There are exhibits and demonstrations that show the tactical brilliance of the Japanese, as well as the resolve of the Americans to recover and rebuild.

great experience..i know the Naval pilot/operators of the boat/barge are busy..but a smile in a while would go a long way…always defensive.. But the documentary was nice and informative – will give you a very clear picture of what exactly happened even if you didnt read about it beforehand.

This year is the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor and we are glad we went. A must see! What a beautiful memorial, well shown and documented. The Arizona battleship has been preserved well, a lot of those who perished are still lying under. Their names are displayed in the memorial.

The museum places you right there with these young men and what they went through. We all gained a respect and appreciation of this monumental event of many years ago. In the 2nd museum, there is a short informative film featuring actual footage from the attack playing on a loop. The film are very touching. On the same tour we also visited Arizona Memorial. You certainly felt a feeling of awe when you see it.

We booked this tour of the USS Missouri/USS Arizona Memorial. This is a perfect half day tour. The pick up time was very early..6:40am but to allow time to fight traffic and get there on time. Then, drop off is around 11:00am. The driver was excellent, with just the right touch. Arriving at Pearl Harbor, which is quick trip from Koolina. We were first shown a Pathe movie of the attacks, which was heartbreaking – the sight and sound of the ammunition holds being shelled on the fleet was incredibly upsetting.

Ladies, ANYTHING, larger than a hand purse, and you’ll have to check it at the gate and put it in a locker till you’re done with the tour. The tour was very informative, history wise, and quick. We got there early so the crowds were low and if you haven’t been to Pearl Harbor you need to go. Majestic and heart breaking looking into the oil covered water realizing that hundreds of men lay underneath buried in a watery grave.

We were able to see the Missouri first via a guide, before it was too crowded. Amazing to see the history on board. The stairs are a little tricky for young and old that we experienced, but with caution, can be done. They do not allow any bags to be taken to the memorial, only what you can put in your pockets or carry in your hand. There are lockers but we were told these were subject to theft, so the driver kept any extraneous items on the bus for us.

Cousin K was a wonderful tour guide and very informative. She not only gave us the history of the area on the way to Pearl Harbor, she also made sure we knew exactly where to seat on the boat to get the best “Bookends” picture. With pick up at Disney Resort do not miss this! The NPS does a great job of presenting both the American & Japanese perspectives on the Pearl Harbor attack.

We were picked up in KoOlina and the driver was excellent. When you get to the memorial you get to be immersed in the events of December 7, 1941. Everything from the events leading up to the attack, details about the attack, and its aftermath. Even if you have zero history knowledge, by the time you’re out the gates, you will have plenty. During our visit, we were fortunate to have met one of the eight survivors of Pearl Harbor: Uncle Herb Weatherwax. What an absolute honor.

This can be a long day but informative. Rain can play havoc with visits to USS Arizona and USS Missouri. We were rained out of the Arizona memorial due to bad weather. We did tour the battleship though and re-lived some of history. When you finally take the ferry out to the memorial, and understand that the entire ship is sunk directly below the actual memorial platform, it makes a whole heck of a lot more sense. This was a very sobering and touching experience.
