The American Memorial Park was established in 1978 and honors the sacrifices made by the American and Marianas people during the Marianas Campaign of World War II. This 133 acre park includes a memorial inscribed with over 5,000 names of the US servicemen that died in Operation Forager and the Battle of the Philippine Sea.
This patch bears the image of Flag Circle which flies the American flag, flanked by the Service Flags of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force (Army Air Corps). Patch reads "Saipan, CNMI" along top and "American Memorial Park" on bottom.
